About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at AFG Management Inc. as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, maintaining inventory and records, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet demand.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and organization of kitchen areas.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
