Job Description

D TRANSPORT INC is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Excellent driving record and ability to pass a driving record check (abstract)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
