Opportunity

MacEwan University is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our School of Continuing Education as a Program Assistant (Admin Support III). As the initial point of contact for prospective and returning students, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and guidance throughout their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register new and returning students for courses and collect fee payments using PeopleSoft.
  • Respond to student inquiries regarding admission requirements, course offerings, pre-requisites, registration procedures, fees, and academic services.
  • Provide administrative support to staff and instructors, including preparing reports, records, and documentation.
  • Assist with course scheduling, room bookings, and equipment setup.
  • Support the development and distribution of marketing and program information.
  • Set up LMS course information and assist instructors with material preparation.
  • Process invoices and payments.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Meskanas (Moodle), and PeopleSoft.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently on assignments.
  • Knowledge of registration systems and customer service principles.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in business or office administration or related specialization.
  • Cross-cultural experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
