Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Educational Counsellor to join our team at the Canadian Ultrasound Institute and Research Centre Corp. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to students, parents, and teachers, helping them navigate educational, career, and personal issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Counsel students on academic and career-related matters, including course selection and career development.
  • Develop and implement guidance programs to support students' academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to provide comprehensive support to students.
  • Refer students to specialized services as needed, ensuring they receive the support they require.
  • Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and workshops to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-6 months of experience in a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
