About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patients' needs, and counsel with appropriate documentation to all patients
  • Provide friendly, positive, and proactive interaction with all internal and external customers, creating awareness and educating customers through public relations
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
  • Provide ongoing training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, and a Class A Pharmacists license are mandatory
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism are essential
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills are required
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems, are a definite asset
