Clinical Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Coordinator to join our team at BC Cancer. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient appointments, diagnostic tests, and procedures, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Process clinician orders, prepare requisitions, and communicate with patients and staff as needed.
- Organize and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Grade 12, medical terminology, and graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk Program, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of recent, related experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinical coordination role.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as familiarity with electronic health records systems.
