Logistics Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and train drivers, ensuring they are well-prepared with the necessary materials and knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and performance metrics.
- Review and verify the accuracy and feasibility of upcoming routes.
- Confirm driver participation for the next day's scheduled routes.
- Oversee the loadout process, assisting drivers with any issues such as missing items or cancellations.
- Ensure drivers adhere to SOPs and maintain their performance metrics.
- Manage the hub mailbox and oversee logistics coordinators to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Coordinate with various support teams (Dispatch, Call Center, Claims, etc.) to address inquiries and requests.
- Handle escalations and customer complaints effectively.
- Assist warehouse and returns departments with inquiries and investigations.
- Manage property and item claims, liaising with the Claims department as necessary.
- Ensure completion of end-of-day tasks, including printing driver packages and confirming route coverage.
- Conduct route audits for drivers and company vehicles.
- Assist with customer pickups, including locating items, managing paperwork, and loading.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience or equivalent experience in logistics.
