Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Broadway & Cambie. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
- Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as providing ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
- Operations Management
- Establish and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that food is prepared and served to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring that they have a positive experience in our restaurant.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, using this data to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports on key performance indicators, such as sales and customer satisfaction.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
- Work under pressure to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Physical Demands
- Standing for extended periods, with frequent movement around the restaurant.
