Job Title: Apprentice Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team at Heat Tech Mechanical. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of plumbing projects, from residential to commercial and industrial settings.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures
  • Cut openings in walls and floors for pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size

Requirements:

  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
