Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Vancouver, BC. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with the team and product owners to test and deploy new CDN, Security, and Performance-related infrastructure and configurations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and ensure the quality of web-based products
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure product quality
  • Understand and analyze HTTP headers and cookies to ensure proper functionality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies
  • Understand and analyze bot security and WAF to ensure proper configuration
Requirements:
  • Over 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, preferably testing on web-based products
  • Experience with both manual and automation testing using Selenium, TestNg, and Java
  • Strong understanding of HTTP headers, cookies, DNS
  • Knowledge of Postman and GitLab
  • Security knowledge with Akamai or other related CDN technologies
Nice to Have:
  • Understanding of CDN solutions, WAF, and bot securities
