About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at CO-OP. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their shopping needs, providing advice on merchandise and services.
  • Sales and Transactions: Process sales transactions, handle cash and credit payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Merchandise Preparation: Prepare merchandise for sale, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
  • Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, and organizational skills required.
