Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories of materials, parts, and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transact all business in accordance with Animal Health International Inc.'s business code of ethics and conduct
  • Align with the Company's Mission, Guiding Principles, Values, Goals, and Objectives
  • Perform all warehouse duties, including picking, packing, receiving, counting, and tracking inventory
  • Use warehouse equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Meet or exceed assigned performance metrics and KPIs
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
  • Handle hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs according to Company processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Above-average performance in:
  • Operating warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Meeting deadlines, cutoffs, and budgetary requirements
  • Organization and administrative skills
  • Communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
  • Industry knowledge of overall warehouse operations
  • Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills with various applications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience preferred
  • Background in warehousing and distribution preferred
