Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wind Instrument Repairer to join our team at Les Instruments de Musique Twigg Inc. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing wind instruments to ensure they are in excellent working condition.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect wind instruments to determine the requirements for repair
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools
  • Test and adjust repaired instruments for proper functioning
  • Calibrate instruments using hand tools
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in wind instrument repair
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work
  • Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) weight handling
Working Conditions

Our workshop is a dusty and noisy environment. You will be required to work overtime and lift heavy instruments.

Language

English or French is the primary language of communication in our workshop.

Work Schedule

37.5 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
