Xpera is a leading independent Third-Party claims Administrator providing comprehensive claims services for various insurance entities, including Lloyd's syndicates and domestic insurers. Our expertise extends to self-insured organizations and those with high deductibles or self-insured retention.

We collaborate with a vast network of independent adjusting firms across Canada, with offices staffed by experienced senior examiners and qualified desktop examiners. Our team possesses regional expertise and is licensed in all Canadian provinces. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our dynamic team at Xpera.

While this role is primarily remote, attendance at the office may be required for training, client meetings, or team gatherings with prior notice.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as an examiner for various accounts, ensuring prompt, fair, and high-quality claims service to clients. Assess liability claims thoroughly. Guide Field Adjusters during assignment investigations. Negotiate settlements directly with claimants or their representatives. Manage claims payments and settlements through trust accounts. Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

A college diploma or a combination of education and relevant business experience. CIP designation is an asset. At least 5 years of experience in casualty claims, including professional lines. Experience in professional liability, including complex coverage analysis. Familiarity with Lloyd's is a distinct advantage.

Demonstrated initiative in identifying and implementing effective solutions. Proven capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional computer proficiency, including navigating various systems and working in a paperless environment.
