Position Overview

The Toronto-Dominion Bank is seeking a dedicated professional to join our Corporate Banking team as an Associate in CIB Credit. This role involves a range of responsibilities aimed at supporting our credit operations and ensuring effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the formulation of credit proposals for designated borrower accounts.
  • Perform comprehensive market, industry, and client analysis to facilitate ongoing risk evaluations.
  • Engage with various product teams to address credit requirements.
  • Compile credit assessments and ensure that sensitivity analyses are incorporated.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and client developments to maintain accurate risk classifications.
  • Oversee the preparation of loan and security documentation.
  • Examine documentation to identify potential credit risk concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Additional responsibilities may include creating presentations and coordinating with syndication teams.

Qualifications

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in approach.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis is essential.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • CFA certification is considered an advantage.
