Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PCBA Technician to join our team at Mircom Group of Companies. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all facility and production equipment in PCBA, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, set-up, and program all auto-insertion and SMT equipment to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Manage and maintain all Preventive Maintenance logs in the PCBA department, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Recommend and maintain required inventory of machine spare parts to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Train operators on autonomous maintenance SOPs and collaborate with the TPM team to continuously improve OEE and equipment performance.
  • Respond promptly to Andon signals, resolve issues, and participate in 5-whys analysis to identify root causes.
  • Advise the Supervisor or Lead Hand of any abnormal conditions or equipment malfunctions.
  • Minimize machine downtime and ensure optimal production output.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by conducting regular inspections and adhering to Health and Safety protocols.
  • Offer suggestions for continuous improvement and lead team efforts to implement standardized work processes.
  • Provide first-line problem-solving support and fix issues as they arise.
  • Meet and exceed Safety, Quality, Output, Operational Availability, Productivity, and Cost Targets.
  • Participate in daily team meetings to discuss production progress and address any concerns.
Requirements
  • Electronic Engineering diploma or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 5 years.
  • Strong understanding of electronic schematic drawings.
  • Experience with auto-insertion and pick-and-place machine programming.
  • Knowledge of PCBA processes, including paste printer, pick and place, SMT reflow, SPI, AOI, Wave Solder, and Flying Probe Test.
  • Experience with Samsung pick-and-place machines is an asset.
  • Good working knowledge of reflow profiles.
  • Experience with SPI/AOI programming.
  • Experience with SPRINT4510 Flying Probe machines is an asset.
  • Knowledge of IPC and Quality Control standards is an asset.
