Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Trail Appliances LTD. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing merchandise to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends and requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
  • Review customer requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and lead time.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
