In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the President & CEO and report directly to the Financial Controller, overseeing the daily financial operations of the organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the daily functions of the accounting department, including billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, while ensuring compliance, precision, and punctuality.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports such as month-end financial statements, quarterly banking reports, and detailed accounts payable and receivable summaries.
  • Maintaining relationships with financial institutions, the CRA, and auditors.
  • Delegating, supervising, and actively participating in various accounting tasks.
  • Establishing and enforcing departmental controls and procedures.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent, with CPA, MBA, or in progress.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English are essential.
