Electrical Project Manager

Pivot HR Services is pleased to present this exciting opportunity for a Chargehand Electrician to join our client, Leading Edge Electrical.
As a Chargehand Electrician, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of electricians and apprentices on various job sites. You will perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices on various job sites.
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems and equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor progress, provide direction, and resolve any on-site issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, time spent, and materials used.
- Mentor and train apprentices, ensuring they adhere to safety standards and develop their skills.
- Valid Electrician certification and experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- 5+ years in commercial electrical construction and/or electrical service and maintenance.
- 2+ years relevant experience as Chargehand leading crews and large projects successfully.
- Proven experience working on residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
- $47.61+/hour
