Position Overview:

The Quality Specialist plays a crucial role within the Quality Assurance division, focusing on compliance oversight and the operational effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS). Reporting directly to the Director of Quality Assurance, this position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the overall functionality of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Assist in maintaining the organization’s Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) status with various aviation authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as AS9110C and ISO9001:2015.
  • Acquire and uphold a comprehensive understanding of relevant Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs).
  • Contribute to the creation and approval of QMS documentation.
  • Address quality-related inquiries from customers.
  • Conduct internal investigations and analyses of incidents.
  • Manage the Approved Supplier Listing (ASL) and Quality Surveys.
  • Eventually audit and support QMS programs across various sites.
  • Exemplify behaviors that align with quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices.
