About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Small Engine and Equipment Technician to join our team at RICHS SAW SALES. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with small engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Isolate Faults: Use your technical expertise to identify and troubleshoot problems with small engines and equipment.
  • Discuss Work with Supervisor: Collaborate with our supervisor to discuss work assignments, progress, and any challenges you may be facing.
  • Review Work Orders: Carefully review work orders to ensure that all necessary tasks are completed and that equipment is properly maintained.
  • Adjust, Repair, or Replace Parts: Use hand tools and equipment to adjust, repair, or replace parts as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Equipment: Thoroughly test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
