Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Bus Operator to join our team at 1167910 Ab Ltd. As a Shuttle Bus Operator, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Services
    • Operate buses, school buses, or streetcars to transport passengers
    • Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules, and stops
    • Collect fares and record transactions
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection of the vehicle
    • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance
  • Customer Service
    • Deal with public and provide excellent customer service
    • Deal with difficult passengers and resolve conflicts
    • Communicate with passengers, dispatchers, or other drivers using two-way radio systems
  • Safety and Security
    • Ensure children's safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing streets while the bus is stopped
    • Maintain control of student activities during travel to prevent distractions or behaviors that could compromise safety
  • Qualifications and Certifications
    • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
    • Valid driver's licence
