Job Summary

PTW is seeking a highly skilled Localization Specialist to join our team in Montreal, Canada. As a Localization Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our video games in Brazilian Portuguese.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proofread and identify errors in Brazilian Portuguese language
  • Verify that console manufacturer guidelines are met
  • Write reports of errors and bugs found to improve the game
  • Provide feedback on the game to ensure it meets our high standards
  • Ensure the game runs smoothly by identifying missing or incorrect content
  • Perform ad hoc translations as needed

Requirements

  • Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese is mandatory
  • Strong cultural understanding of Brazil
  • Excellent proficiency in English is essential for working with international clients
  • Basic proficiency in French is required for communication and collaboration
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
