Mttalentgroup is proud to partner with a leader in the consulting engineering and construction space to find a Senior Environmental Engineer for their Greater Toronto Area operations.

The Environmental Engineer will play a key role in the expansion of the company in Canada, working on water and wastewater projects across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project engineering for water and wastewater projects, overseeing investigations, operational troubleshooting, analysis, process engineering design, technology assessment, and preparing technical memoranda and reports.
- Contribute to mechanical and/or hydraulic design during the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure as a process engineer.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to provide input into budget preparation and liaise with clients to promote business development, enhance reputation, and foster relationships with municipal clients in the water sector.
- Engage in relevant professional societies within the industry and work alongside multidisciplinary team members to gather, consolidate, and coordinate technical information to support projects and proposals.
- Provide supervision, guidance, mentoring, and technical support to engineering and technical staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or other relevant area of study.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario.
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in water and wastewater engineering/processes, including notable experience in the Ontario market.
- Demonstrated experience spearheading and finalizing technical, process, and design tasks for water projects.
- A proven ability to work in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Experience with business development activities, such as creating proposal scopes and resource requirements tailored to municipal clients.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, project management software, and industry-specific software.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize work and pivot accordingly to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met.
