Senior Investigator, Digital Forensic Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investigator to join our Digital Forensic Services team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting complex digital forensic investigations, analyzing electronic evidence, and providing expert testimony in court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough digital forensic investigations to identify and analyze electronic evidence related to cybercrime and other misconduct.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and mitigate cybercrime risks within the Bank.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the Bank's cybersecurity posture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert testimony in court proceedings and represent the Bank in legal matters related to digital forensics.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in digital forensics and cybersecurity to ensure the Bank's investigative methodologies and tools remain effective and efficient.
- Post-secondary university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, the Canada Evidence Act, and provincial interpretations relating to computer crime.
