Culinary Operations Supervisor

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining establishment, Umai Sushi. This position requires a blend of leadership, organization, and culinary expertise.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
This role is set within a vibrant restaurant atmosphere, where teamwork and quality service are paramount.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, sanitation standards, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Compile food order summaries for the chef to facilitate smooth operations.
This position includes oversight of:
- Food and beverage servers
- Kitchen and food service assistants
This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.
