Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Administrator to join our team at CP. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing direction and advice on capacity planning, future installations, and design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Linux environment design and implementation.
  • Develop and implement automation and orchestration strategies using Tanium, Orchestrator, and automation suites.
  • Configure and manage Linux environments using Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, and Desired State Configuration (DSC).
  • Design and implement scripting solutions using PowerShell, bash, and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Linux environments with other infrastructure components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in infrastructure administration, with a focus on Linux environments.
  • 1-3 years of experience with virtual infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V.
  • Experience with cluster management, including SLES and RH.
  • Proficiency in storage technologies, including Dell/EMC and Netapp.
  • Knowledge of replication technologies, including Dell/EMC and Netapp.
  • Understanding of networking protocols, including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and FC.
  • Experience with Cisco networking products and technologies.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with containerization platforms and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) technologies.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code platforms, including Terraform and Azure Resource Manager/CloudFormation templates.
