Job Title: Carpenter

Joamat Inc is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites.
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
  • Valid safety equipment and gear, including steel-toed safety boots and hard hat.
