Registration Services Specialist

Job Summary:

The Registration Services Specialist plays a critical role in the daily operations of the Office of the Registrar by providing exceptional service and support to a diverse client base, including current and prospective students, external stakeholders, and college staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process registrations for new and returning students, ensuring accuracy and compliance with college policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the integrity of registration records and student data within the Student Information System (SIS), adhering to audit guidelines and college policies.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on admissions and registration policies and processes, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage complex and sensitive inquiries, leveraging in-depth knowledge of systems, processes, and policies to respond effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Requirements:

  • Three-year diploma or degree in Business/Office Administration, Systems Analysis, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a busy, fast-paced customer service environment, with a focus on registration and enrolment services.
  • Advanced knowledge of registrar's office policies, college policies, and Ministry guidelines related to registration and enrolment reporting.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
