VIP Guest Experience Specialist

As a member of our dedicated VIP team, you'll provide exceptional service at one of our premier clubs located within Scotiabank Arena. You'll be the first point of contact for members, ensuring they receive top-tier treatment from arrival to departure. This role demands a solution-oriented mindset, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to confidentiality and sound judgment to deliver unparalleled service.

  • Master Venue Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of the venue, event details, and surrounding areas to offer tailored recommendations.
  • Event Execution Excellence: Assist with managing event day operations within MLSE premium spaces, including guest list management, VIP experiences, and talent coordination.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to MLSE house policies and procedures, including responsible alcohol service.
  • Safety First: Follow all MLSE Health & Safety Policies and procedures, upholding the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Detailed Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive reports.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible to perform other job-related duties as required.

Your Success Profile:

  • Experience in a security role or hospitality/concierge service is highly valued.
  • Current First-Aid/CPR training certificate is essential.
  • Smart Serve Certificate within the last 4 years is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Seven Rooms and event check-in apps is beneficial.
  • Demonstrate independent thinking and real-time decision-making abilities.
  • Effectively manage time and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Maintain a systematic and process-oriented approach to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Show dedication to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic with a drive for self-development, collaboration, and proactive action.
  • Knowledge of Sports & Entertainment and Hospitality industry experience is preferred.
  • Be available to work 8–10-hour shifts (Evenings only).
  • Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
