Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Coordinator, Pricing and Inventory Specialist to join our team at Rocky Mountaineer. This role will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of our product pricing strategy, as well as managing our inventory levels to ensure maximum revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of seasonal package pricings and distribution of taxes for Product, IT, and Marketing
  • Support the Product Build coordinators with the entry and maintenance of accurate cost and sell rates in internal systems
  • Review all contract details in coordination with the Procurement team, ensuring products and services are updated following internal policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with the Partnership Marketing team to support the production of sales support tools
  • Continuously review inventory levels of rail, hotel, and land experience services to ensure availability for package sales
  • Work closely with the Inventory Yield Specialist applying ongoing forecast models to support package inventory controls
  • Effectively communicate inventory changes in allotment variations
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand growth
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years post-secondary education preferably in Statistics, Business Management, or Travel/Tourism
  • Experience in process review and implementation
  • Experience and knowledge of travel reservations systems
  • Extensive experience with yield management/managing inventory and producing detailed analysis/reports
  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Outlook, and data base applications such as Smartsheets
  • Excellent excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Demonstrated effective judgement and decision-making skills including proven business maturity
Working Environment
  • 2-3 days work from office
Compensation
  • The base salary offered for this role is $51,000 - $55,000 per annum and can vary based on job-related expertise, qualifications, experience, and internal equity
  • Eligible for Rocky Mountaineer's Bonus Program
