About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at 2836729 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and supervise the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of staff hours, sales, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service management role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
