About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Wylds KM Services. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our grounds and landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of grounds maintenance personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive grounds maintenance plans, taking into account seasonal changes and weather conditions.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct thorough assessments of project requirements, estimating labour and material costs to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction of outdoor structures, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate and direct landscape construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain logs of work completed, including materials used and labour hours.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, ensuring it remains in good working condition.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of trees and plants, ensuring they receive proper care and attention.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant and maintain a variety of flora, ensuring the grounds remain visually appealing.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Transport and distribute materials as needed, ensuring efficient project execution.
