Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Adpearl inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including taking vital signs, making beds, and maintaining patient rooms
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Transport patients between care facilities and provide wheelchair or stretcher assistance as needed
  • Respond to call signals to determine patients' needs and provide timely support
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and maintain a safe and secure environment
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client care and teamwork
  • Reliability, dependability, and flexibility to adapt to changing situations
