Pharmacy Manager Job Description

RK Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our retail pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, manage staff and assign duties, determine staffing requirements, and recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine merchandise and services to be sold, locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, and develop and implement marketing strategies.
  • Financial Management: Oversee payroll administration and supervise office and volunteer staff.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that our pharmacy is a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore, retail business
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Point of sale system, word processing software, inventory control software, and spreadsheet
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Green Job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes
