About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Cook to join our team at Bento Sushi. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a key role in preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest quality of food for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and a high level of productivity
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, with a willingness to learn and take initiative
