Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at TIM HORTONS BRIDGEWATER.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
