Stable Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stable Boss to join our team at G&G Sporthorses Ltd.
Job Summary:The Stable Boss will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our horse breeding farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our horses, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
- Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of time
- Direct farm feed inventory activities and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Direct farm grooming activities and maintain high standards of horse care
- Handle and care for animals, including monitoring their health and behavior
- Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times
- Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
- Train horses and develop their skills and abilities
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and forklifts
- Perform general farm duties, including cleaning and maintenance tasks
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or industry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work in a rural area with exposure to outdoor elements
- Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
