Senior Third Party Risk Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Third Party Governance Office (TPGO) within the Technology, Infrastructure and Innovation team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting the Due Diligence team to ensure CIBC's third party risk methodology practices are executed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution of due diligence assessments to enable effective controls pertaining to third party arrangements.
- Collaborate with key risk partners to determine if potential risks are appropriately mitigated by the Third Party or Bank's processes and controls.
- Support the completion of control group due diligence activities, including concentration risk, criticality assessment, supplier financial viability, etc.
- Design and develop control group risk reporting and metrics.
- Develop action plans to address heightened risks and work with relationships managers and line of businesses for approval and implementation.
- 5+ years of experience in supporting the execution of third party risk-based programs or similar operational risk areas.
- Financial Services experience or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to inform decision making.
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships with the third party risk community.
