Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Egidio. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assist clients with medication administration, ensuring accurate and timely dosing.
  • Monitor clients' progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent position, 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
