Job Title: Buildings Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Buildings Project Manager to join our team at Associated Engineering (ONT) Ltd. As a key member of our Municipal Group, you will be responsible for leading multi-discipline teams in delivering buildings projects for a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in the preparation of concepts, designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents
  • Advance projects through the concept, design, and construction phases
  • Manage existing clients and subconsultants, and develop new clients
  • Deliver projects on budget and within identified schedules
  • Act as the primary contact for all project-related client communications
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary project team to undertake major building projects
  • Engage in business development and lead technical and financial proposals
  • Mentor and coach project teams made up of engineers, technologists, and administrative support

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer in good standing with APEGS
  • 7+ years of progressive Engineering experience within the Buildings sector
  • Experience in working with both private and public sector clients and processes
  • Prior knowledge and experience with First Nations projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of varying scale at one time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor staff on a project basis
  • Ability to work effectively within tight deadlines and schedules
  • Holder of the PMP designation is an asset
  • Possess a valid class 5 driver's license
  • Willingness and ability to travel within SK as required
