Retail Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Meat Cutter to join our team at Oj's Halal Meat. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of halal meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meat: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.
- Meat Processing: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and remove bones from meat to ensure optimal quality.
- Meat Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats to maintain freshness and presentation.
- Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, provide product information, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Equipment Operation: Operate band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines to efficiently process meat products.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Will train or equivalent experience in a meat cutting or processing environment.
- Language: English language proficiency.
