Supervisor, Food Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Days Inn Leamington. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requisition Food and Kitchen SuppliesRequisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are ordered and received in a timely manner.
Train Staff in Job DutiesTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff members are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a safe working environment.
Estimate Ingredient and Supplies RequiredEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that all necessary items are ordered and received in a timely manner.
Ensure Quality Control StandardsEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Maintain RecordsMaintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded and reported.
Prepare and Submit ReportsPrepare and submit reports, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded and reported.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work SettingStaff accommodation available. Restaurant and hotel/motel/resort environment.
Security and SafetyBasic security clearance.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesFast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Attention to detail.
Personal SuitabilityExcellent oral communication. Flexibility. Team player. Initiative. Dependability.
ExperienceExperience an asset. Permanent position. 35 to 44 hours per week.
