Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Real Estate Advisor to join our team at Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a key member of our Real Estate Services team, you will play a critical role in providing brokerage and advisory services related to government-owned property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and present financial and investment management strategies to senior management.
  • Conduct complex socio-economic/financial research and program evaluation related to innovative concepts/approaches to acquisition, disposition, or leasing a broad/diverse portfolio of assets.
  • Attend meetings with PSPC, Central Agencies, and OGDs, and make presentations on the economic implications of policies, standards, and regulations impacting specific real property and capital projects.
Requirements
  • Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in economics, sociology, or statistics.
  • Experience in preparing analysis and recommendations for Senior Management or stakeholders.
Asset Qualifications
  • Graduation with a degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in Business Administration, Real Estate, or Urban Planning.
  • Possession of a Canadian professional urban planning, finance, or accounting designation.
  • Experience reviewing policies, legislation, publications, or economic plans.
  • Experience negotiating real estate transactions such as acquisitions, disposals, or leases.
