Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory treats. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in meeting our high standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure that products meet established standards.
  • Draw up production schedules and manage inventory.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
