Job Title: Line Cook

VIETNAM SOUP AND SUB INC. is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
Requirements:
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
Working Conditions:

The Line Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a high level of physical activity. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
