We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced French and Spanish teacher/tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in Vancouver, BC.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working with students of various ages and skill levels, providing individualized support and instruction in French and Spanish. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in spoken and written French, Spanish, and English, as well as the ability to teach up to a Grade 9 level.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching students in small groups or one-on-one
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans based on Oxford Learning's proprietary methodologies
  • Assessing student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
  • Communicating with parents and guardians regarding student progress
  • Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience teaching/tutoring French and Spanish at a Grade K to 10 level
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with multiple students at a time
