Ambulance Readiness Technician

At PHSA, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service to the people of British Columbia. As an Ambulance Readiness Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the readiness and safety of our ambulances and medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sanitize and process critical medical equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Restock supplies on ambulances and perform vehicle checks to ensure they are ready for service.
  • Receive and process incoming inventory, including medical equipment and supplies.
  • Perform routine maintenance on ambulances and medical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with paramedics, supervisors, and IT staff to resolve equipment issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist with inventory management, including data entry and stock reordering.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the team and ensure the smooth operation of our ambulance services.
Requirements:
  • Grade 10 or equivalent education and related experience.
  • Valid Class 5 vehicle license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others and work in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and carrying equipment.
