About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Secretary to provide administrative and legal secretarial support to our team of Workers' Advisers. The successful candidate will maintain an ongoing relationship with various government agencies and stakeholders, and will be responsible for routine enquiries, drafting and forwarding correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing client relationships.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Transcribe and format legal documents and letters from dictation and/or handwritten notes.
  • Identify and manage priorities, gather supporting information for response, and maintain accurate records.
  • Screen incoming calls, respond to routine enquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain the current case management system, schedule appointments, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and photocopying.
  • Routinely consult various databases to verify and update client information and input data.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a commercial course completion and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a legal environment. Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills are essential. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated, with a strong ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
