Cashier Clerk

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Cashier Clerk to join our team at Country Grocer Salt Spring Island. As a key member of our deli counter team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Customer Service: Greet customers, discuss merchandise, and provide advice on products and services.
• Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels, reordering stock, and preparing merchandise for sale.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the deli counter and surrounding areas.

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: Experience an asset.
• Language: English.
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
